We spent Christmas and New Year of 2009-2010 at the newly opened Maluku Divers Resort in Ambon, Indonesia.  It had only opened officially to the public a couple of weeks prior to our visit but everything ran amazingly well and the staff were absolutely brilliant.  The diving was great with the vast majority being muck dives and sandy slopes and under the famous Laha pier, but we also did a trip further a field to view the stunning underwater topography around the island.
