UltraMarine Magazine – Cover Image and Feature Article
I have written a few articles for UltraMarine Magazine over the past year or so and am pleased to have my first cover image with them this issue (Issue 33: April/May 2012). The cover shot is a pink anemonefish that I took at Wakatobi Dive Resort in Indonesia a few years ago. I've always had a soft spot for the image which I took with a very short depth of field, giving it an ethereal feel with soft pastel colours of the pale blue sky, purple mantle of the anemone and pinks of the fish.

With this issue, my shots will have graced the cover of Sport Diving for the past six months! The shot of a nudibranch, Phidiana indica, crawling over a tunicate, Polycarpa sp., was taken aboard Dewi Nusantara last year in the Raja Ampat region of Indonesia.

Raja Ampat Aboard Dewi Nusantara (Trip Two)
I was ever so excited to welcome the guests for my second trip around the Raja Ampat region of Papua, Indonesia aboard the beautiful Dewi Nusantara as it meant we'd be back in the water very soon! The first day of diving is such a solid start to the itinerary and really sets the scene for what's to come that even veteran divers are astounded by the riches of the area.
Recent Lembeh Trip
2012 is shaping up to be a great year already! Sandwiched between Christmas and New Year spent in Ambon and January and February in Raja Ampat, I spent 10 days in Lembeh with my friend Laura.
